The Project

Almost a vanity piece of work and irresistible as a commission. Our hearts leapt at the opportunity to redesign and rebrand one of the most well-read books in the world for passengers on the Venice-Simplon Orient Express.

The Solution

The task was to create two designs – one for the Belmond British Pullman sector, the other for the VSOE. Both treatments had to reflect the unique characteristics of each sector and provide instant recognition of the brand.

The End Result

Both designs were approved by HarperCollins and more importantly, the Agatha Christie Estate. These designs have now become a collector’s item and can only be purchased by passengers aboard the iconic Orient Express.
