The Project

Following on from the success of the 2016 edition we were approached again by YACHTZOO to create their 2017 brochure. The brief was kind of ‘same but different’ with many of the same yachts appearing in the brochure again but the editorial and style needed a fresh look within the brand guidelines we’d set the previous year.

The Solution

The images we were working with gave rise to an idea we’d been keen to try for a while and were really grateful to the gang at YACHTZOO for believing in it. Using silver ink to replace all the white and shaded areas of a monochrome shot gave us an incredibly stylish cover image and was also helped by the incredible lines of the overhead shot of the yacht.

The End Result

The client loved the finished brochure again and we were delighted by the quality of the finished product. It was a risk that paid of handsomely as we watched the covers roll off the printers. The images don’t do it justice online it really is a lovely piece of work to hold and read. We press proofed with the aid of James Samson at Samson print who has been a saviour through out our dealings with this client as he constantly brings home the good with his print contacts each year.
